Technology - Bailee 2019

On Wednesday all the Year seven and eights went to the high school for Tech.

Last week my class made bath bombs and started making our aprons.

When we all went to our classes my class grabbed all of the bath bombs we made and took them out of their moulds. 

There was lots of decorations to wrap the bath bombs up so we can give them to people as gifts.

I wrapped mine up with clear foils and curled string.

I decided to give mine to my mum and the other one to my sister.

I really liked making the bath bombs and I can't wait to make them again next week.

Film Festival - 2019

Yesterday my whole school went to a Film Festival, it took place at the Regent Theatre.

 We watched lots of movies/films made by other schools all around Grey Mouth and the West Coast. 

I wrote some reviews on what I liked and what they could of improved on.

Keeping Ourselves Safe.

This term we have been looking at Keeping Ourselves Safe (KOS) Firstly we listened to a story and listed what we could do in the situation , Constable Terri came into our school and talked to us about it . She also talked about the type of abuse there are. Some of them is : 

: Physical abuse, emotional abuse, neglect abuse, sexual abuse, family abuse,  cyber abuse.

We watched a video about this kid that always got bullied, he thought he had lots of friends but they decided to bully him cyber and emotional.

Yesterday 7//11//19 Constable Terri came and read us another story about sexual abuse and physical abuse.

For the past few weeks my class T1, had to do a blog post about camp, I didn't go on camp so I chose to do mine on my 10 favourite foods.

Brunner Mine

On Monday My class and I went to a place called Brunner Mine. I chose to make a slide about our big adventure. We all had a great time dressing up and acting out a role play, not only did we go to the Brunner Mine Site we also went to Still-water cemetery. -Bailee.
