Isolation Appreciation

 

This week we have been doing some work around isolation. One of the activities we had to complete was ' Isolation Appreciation.' We had an option to do this so I chose to because I thought this task would be fun to write and think of some things to do. I enjoyed doing this task because It was fast and easy! My Hobbies Out Of School.

For the past few weeks my class and I have been working on all about me tasks, one of the tasks we had to complete was : writing about our hobbies. Here are some of my hobbies. Cinquain about my bestfriend.

This week my class and I have been working on all sorts of different poems. One of the poems we had to complete was an Cinquain poem, here is how you make one :        

    (Cinquains have five lines)

*Line 1: Title (noun) - 1 word 

*Line 2: Description (adjective) - 2 words 

*Line 3: Action (verb) - 3 words 

*Line 4: Feeling (phrase) - 4 words 

*Line 5: Title (synonym for the title) - 1 word

For our first cinquain poem we had to write it about a person, we could of chosen ourselves but I chose to write it about my best friend Hannah.

Letter to my future self.

For the past few weeks my class and Totara 3 have been working on


an activity about a book. The book is called sticks and stones.

Dear future Bailee.


Hi! Today I'm 12 years old. My hobbies are : gymnastics, netball, painting, art, writing, maths and shopping.





My dislikes are meat, mar mite, jam, burnt toast and sour things.





My favourite thing to do at school is basic facts and my favourite thing to do out of school is shopping and going to the beach.





I really don’t like eating noodles but I could eat cracker chips every day of the week! My favourite song is Exchange by Bryston Tiller. Do you still like it ?


I hope that in the next year I learn to do a backhand spring properly.





In the next 5 years I want to have a good paying job.


Well it was nice talking to you! My final piece of advice to my future self is be nice to everyone and don’t put others down because you never know what might happen in life.

GREEN poem

This week my class and I got given a task to complete two poems in the same category but completely different colours. One of the colours I chose is green, here is my green poem. I chose the colour green because it's easy to write about and there is a lot of green objects in the world. My favourite thing about this activity was describing objects. My Personal Profile

This week we have been working on 'All About Me'. One of the activities we had to do was a personal profile about ourselves. Here is my personal profile. I really enjoyed working on this because it was easy and fun to add photos. My favourite part was definitely adding different photos because it shows what I enjoy and describes things about me. Who Am I?

Last week my class and I were working on poems. "Who Am I" was one of the poems we had to complete. Here is my poem. I really enjoyed writing this poem because it was quick and easy. My Hobbies

This week we have been working on something called " all about me " We do heaps of activities based on things about ourselves. One of the activities we had to complete was "our hobbies" . Here are some of my hobbies I enjoy doing out of school. What are some things you enjoy doing?

Identity Poem

This week we were working on poems about ourselves, this is my poem. I decided to add some of my photos which relate to me. We had to put four adjectives into the poem which was about us, three things we enjoy, we feel happy when... We also had to add our fears to the poem. Do you have to write poems in your class? This week we have been learning to write poems. We had to read a poem getting some ideas off a school journal and copy some ideas off it but change it into our own words. The whole activity is to gives some clues about ourselves and add them into the poem. Limerick

  This week my class and I decided to write a Limerick, some  

 people wrote more than 1 but i decided just to do this one.

Keeping Ourselves Safe.

This term we have been looking at Keeping Ourselves Safe (KOS) Firstly we listened to a story and listed what we could do in the situation , Constable Terri came into our school and talked to us about it . She also talked about the type of abuse there are. Some of them is : 

: Physical abuse, emotional abuse, neglect abuse, sexual abuse, family abuse,  cyber abuse.

We watched a video about this kid that always got bullied, he thought he had lots of friends but they decided to bully him cyber and emotional.

Yesterday 7//11//19 Constable Terri came and read us another story about sexual abuse and physical abuse.
