Family Crest - All about me

For the past few weeks we have been learning to do 'ALL ABOUT ME' tasks. One of the tasks we had to complete was a Family Crest, What's a family crest? Well...

A family Crest is adding pictures to a shield of somethings you do with your family. For example I chose to do  my Mum and my dad.

Who Am I?

Kia Ora, For the past few weeks we have been learning how to write different types of poems, one of the poems we had to complete was a 'WHO AM I?' poem. Here is my 'WHO AM I?' poem. For my photos I decided to have a big BLUE eye because my eyes are BLUE. Someone running because I run a lot, and a brain because I read a lot.

Shield-Sticks and Stones

This week we have been reading a book called 'STICKS AND STONES' one of the activities we had to do around the book was writing a shield about our-self and our safety. Here I wrote where I feel safe, Where I'm happy, when I'm protected and who makes me happy/excited. The person that makes me feel happy is my best friend HANNAH. Who makes you feel safe? enjoy!

Memory Poem

This week we have been working on poems, One of the poems we have been working on was a 'Memory Poem' For our memory poem we had to chose a season or write about something which is a show don't tell and then at the end you find out what season they are talking about.

Positive and Negative words.

For a couple of weeks now we have been reading a novel (chapter book) called STICKS AND STONES. What we have to do : We have to listen to the teacher reading us the book, she gives us instructions and activities related to the book. One of the activities to complete was positive and negative words. About the book : The book is about a girl who has a condition and whenever she gets called a name - good or bad, it appears on her skin and gets very itchy. So for this task we had to get a silhouette of a person and put the negative and positive words on each side of the body. Here is my person with words on it. Enjoy my blog post! 

My Hobbies Out Of School.

For the past few weeks my class and I have been working on all about me tasks, one of the tasks we had to complete was : writing about our hobbies. Here are some of my hobbies. Acrostic Poem

Last week my class and I were working on acrostic poems. What we had to do was :
1. Write our name in capital letters along the side.
2. Add sentences next to our name starting with the same letter.
3. Make sure the sentences make sense!
